Dancesport UK - Ballroom / Latin dancewear for Juvenile Girls (up to 12 yrs old)

In UK Most Ballroom/Latin dance competitions are regulated by British Dance Council, who established strict rules about Juvenile (up to 12 yrs old) girls allowed outfits. Participating in BDC Juvenile competition your outfit must comply with these rules:

The Shoes: Girls must wear a classic, plain block heel (a heel that is wider than higher) with a maximum height of 3.5 cm. No rhinestones, glitter, or shiny metallic materials are allowed.
The Socks: Traditional, plain white ankle socks must be worn. No exemptions.
No Added Glitz is allowed: Absolutely no additional decorations are permitted. This means no lace motifs, rhinestones, sequins, or ruching can be added to the fabric.
The Fabric: The bodice must be made of one self-colour material from the roll. It must be fully lined from the waist right up to and including the shoulder seams.
No cut-outs are permitted anywhere on the garment.
The Hem and Structure: Hems must be no deeper than 8cm. While you can use crinoline or wire inside the hem of the top skirt to give it body, it must never be exposed on the bottom. Plain satin ribbon is allowed on the hem edge.
Underskirts: A maximum of two under-skirts are allowed, and they must be made of completely non-see-through material.
Sashes and Belts: A Sash/Belt is permitted on skirt waist but no wider than 5 cms to cover the join. Bow with tails to be no bigger than 5cms and may only be used as a fastening. Buttons and sashes for fastening purposes only. Waistband to be no wider than 5cms. A Sash/Belt on a dress can have a back fastening but must be an integral part of the dress
Hair Decoration: You are permitted to use a single, small flower or a neat bow in the hair, up to a maximum width of 8cm. It must be made from a matte, non-shiny material and cannot feature any rhinestones, glitter, or extra embellishments.
Hair and make-up must be completely appropriate for the child's age. No other hair decorations are allowed. Glitter spray and loose rhinestones are strictly forbidden.
Jewellery: Only jewellery of a deeply personal or religious nature may be worn on the floor. If your dancer wears earrings, they must be kept small, simple, and subtle.
Forbidden items: Fabric armbands, headbands, neckbands and gloves are prohibited under BDC rules.
Neck lines: and Keyhole back not lower than top of armpit/underarm. One frill up to 7.5cm in depth or simple collar is allowed.
The Sleeves: can be Long, Short, Elbow Length, Short Puff, Cap - No frills and Dolman are permitted. If a sheer or see-through material is used for the sleeves, the garment must feature a standard inset sleeve, as the lining on the main body must completely cover the shoulder seam. Mesh or lace raglan sleeves that cut into the bodice without lining are strictly non-compliant.
The skirt must be made of the exact same self-colour material as the bodice (a perfect dye match) and consist of only one material.
Skirt Cut and Length: Skirt must have a single, straight hem length all the way around. No high-low cuts or uneven points are permitted. The length must fall traditionally between knee level and 5cm above the ankle sock. Extra flare inserts known as "godets" are strictly forbidden.
Sponsorship Logos: Three sponsor logos are permitted per couple and must not exceed 40 square cm.

Failing to comply with the above rules you may be disqualified before you even put a foot on a dance floor. The above rules apply in UK, but different countries would have different rules.
