From 2011 Asian Open is a double DVD set. The first DVD shows the finals of this event, which took place in Budokan, Tokyo, Japan in 2011. It covers Cha cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso doble, Jive. The second DVD features Tokyo Congress with lectures from world's top coaches and performers.

The first DVD features the following finalists:
  1. Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko (USA)
  2. Franco Formica and Oxana Lebedew (Germany)
  3. Sergey Surkov and Melia (Poland)
  4. Andrej Skufca and Melinda (Slovenia)
  5. Markus Homm and Ksenia Kasper (Germany)
  6. Richard Malki and Anna Suprun (Norway)
By using the disc's unique CoupleCam facility you can follow each couple individually - just as if you were there.

It is interesting that EVERY COUPLE is shown performing a FULL DANCE. The event was filmed using 6 cameras each following a different couple and for the purpose of this DVD the images were added together, so you can watch 6 different performances for each dance.

The second DVD features TOKYO CONGRESS 2011 with lectures from the world's leading coaches and lecturers:
  • Paul Richardson - Latin quality through the judges eyes.
  • Hazel Fletcher - Passion and Emotion in your anatomy in Latin dancing
  • Espen Salberg with Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko - Dancing dynamically vs. Stable basics
The commentary is in Japanese and English.
