The team

Eva Allen Creative Director, Co-founder and Organiser. Eva moved to London in 1989 to further her dancing career. She went through all grades of competitive dancing from intermediate, through pre-championship and finally Open Amateur. In London she teamed up with an American-born Nathan Widder, with whom she represented UK at amateur competitions around the world. She later travelled to USA where she competed with Anderson Moore, himself a former Professional Rising-Star champion and learned the American way of running a dance business. A knee injury in the 1998 forced her to stop competitive dancing, and from that moment on Eva concentrated on developing Dancesport UK business, her internet based dance product supply and information services for dancers.

After a long recovery Eva has come back to business this time as a promoter and organiser. She became known for pioneering the American Smooth and American Rhythm in UK together with Anderson Moore. Now Eva is probably the first teacher in UK promoting American Smooth and American Rhythm, the styles developed in USA and very popular there. The material taught is based on DVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association) syllabus. Email webmaster@zem.co.uk
